Mad Hunky’s Poultry brine is a savory dry brine you add water… or other liquid- to to create a wonderful moisture enhancing brine. For skinless breasts/cuts, 4-6 hours is sufficient, whole birds skinned cuts 6-8 hours is plenty. Do NOT worry about over-brining- it is nearly imposssible with this well balanced brine. The brine is also sugar free… using dehydrated honey for the sweet component!! And like all Mad Hunky products it is MSG and peanut free. Use at a rate of 5 level tablespoons/pint liquid.
So this weekend cooked another batch of chicken using your brine. Originally I bought the brine to convince myself that my brine was good. Since I have used your brine it brought my chicken to a whole new level. Every single time I use it I am told this is the best BBQ chicken they have ever had. This is from people that know good BBQ. Love the stuff! I’ve left a whole turkey in the brine for 11 days before (not on purpose) and it was sooooooo good. I like to leave birds in the brine for a minimum of 2 days. Highly recommend using this stuff!
I had never brined before so didn’t trust myself to create a good brine. Bought poultry brine from Mad Hunky Meats and my Christmas Cornish Hens were absolutely outstanding! I’m ordering more poultry brine today. Fabulous product!
